Breakthrough Atlanta
Breakthrough Atlanta is a community project I co-own with Mariana Saslafsky and remain deeply committed to as a founder, teacher, leader, steward, and participant.
It is one of the places where much of my work becomes lived rather than merely discussed.
Breakthrough began as a three-day transformational course, but the course is only part of what has grown around it. Over time, it has become a community of people learning to live with greater responsibility, honesty, freedom, connection, and care for one another.
The work asks people to look directly at the beliefs, protections, and patterns that shape how they experience themselves and the people around them. It is experiential, demanding, loving, and often difficult to explain adequately from outside the room.
Mariana and I bring different histories, strengths, and ways of leading to the project. We share ownership of it, and neither of us is the whole of it. Breakthrough is also carried by the people who return to assist, support one another, invite others, take responsibility for the community, and continue practicing what they discovered after the weekend is over.
I am woven into Breakthrough in a substantial way. I continue to teach courses, develop the work, train leaders and instructors, support the community, and invest my time and resources in what it is becoming.
At the same time, Breakthrough Atlanta is not simply an extension of me or of Deliberate Harmony. It is a shared project with its own identity, commitments, leadership, and community.
